A simple man’s quest to do some good in the world,
make a difference in someone’s life,
and inspire his kids to do the same someday.

About the Project

Inspired by the growing movement to rebuild America and revitalize the American dream through entrepreneurship, I decided to start The American Flag Project.

Simply put, The American Flag Project is my quest to do some good in the world, make a difference in someone’s life and inspire my kids to do the same someday.

How Does it Work?

How the Project Works

1We have painted two identical and unique American flag paintings.

2We’ll be reaching out to every living President in the succession of their presidency, with the simple request to sign the back of each painting along with a quote that each President believes best describes what America is all about.

3Once we have successfully obtained all the President’s signatures, one of the paintings will be auctioned off.

4100% of the auction proceeds will be awarded to a specially selected US Serviceman or Servicewoman who has served in Afghanistan or Iraq to help them fund a new business idea. The recipient of the start-up funds will also receive one year of start-up mentoring by a group of successful entrepreneurs. We’ll be asking people to nominate individuals through our Facebook page, where we’ll narrow down the nominees to five and then let our Facebook community vote for a winner.

5The second painting will be passed on to our children, to continue the idea by obtaining future US Presidents signatures and one day auctioning off the painting and donating 100% of the proceeds to a cause they’re passionate about.

With a large number of our US troops returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq over the next couple of years, these men and women who have put their dreams on hold and bravely fought for our country will be looking for jobs. Our goal is to help one of them start a business that brings new ideas and jobs to the American people.

I hope the American Flag Project inspires you to follow me and my family on this journey. Show your support by hitting the Like button on our Facebook page or following us on  Twitter. As the project progresses, regular updates and pictures will be broadcast on our  Facebook and Twitter pages.
